Assignment 1
Introduction.
The type of photography industry I want to be in is the travel editorial field.Weather it be in Australia or over the ocean there is no places that I wouldn't go. The types of jobs I would be interested in would be food.
The product and service I will provide.
Iv always known I would be an artist even from a early age, This has only been reinforced with the completion of my Bachelor of photography. Over time I have perfected this medium and gained technical and creative skills that that most photographers would dream about. These ability's I have gained has helped me maintain a very high professional standard that flows through all of my work such as attention to fine detail and extra effort for all features. With my high level of professionalism, there is a high level standard. each one of my costumers will receive a CD with images and a selections of the images for printing on various different mediums such as: paper (gloss,mat gloss,pearl) canvas, fabric.
Business potential.
My competitors for the industry are photographers who work for:
I did a search in Yellow Pages for the Melbourne Victoria region and their was a total of 16 food photographers that specialise in food photography. I did a larger search on Google and their appears to more photographers that say they do food photography as well as everything else.

Ideally I would like to be working for a editorial company instead of owning my own business. In the situation of me owning my own business I would choose to be a sole trader. It is the simplest business structure, its inexpensive to start and easy to maintain.
Advantages of being a sole trader
